FPS International Team Fundraiser
The Lester Prairie Team that will be attending the Future Problem Solving International Bowl in June, will be serving Walking Tacos during the classes and events at Holasek's Greenhouse on May 12th and May 19th from 11-1 each day. Tacos will be sold for $3.00/bag or 2 for $5.00. Drinks will also be available. We need around $4000 to support the team.

SchoolView: Online Grades
Our parent/student online system is called SchoolView. Using SchoolView, you can access a variety of information about your child, including grades, schedule, attendance and lunch balance. Choose the SchoolView link at the left for information.
Parents may get their sign up information from the school office. Students should see Mrs. DeBruyckere to get their information.
This system is new. Last year's logins do not work.

MN Reading Corps Literacy Tutor Position Available You're ready for growth. Whether you're looking to explore a new career in education, reenter the workforce or simply want to work iwth kids, you're ready. So what are you waiting for? Become a Minnesota Reading Corps literacy tutor at Lester PRairie and start creating meaningful growth.
We are looking for one half-time person dedicated to our community. You can be one of hundreds of trained literacy tutors placed in schools across the state, who guide students toward becoming successful readers by third grade. Tutors are parents, grandparents, recent college grads, and mid-career professionals. With Minnesota Reading Corps, you can see real results and make a lasting impact in our students' lives, as well as in your own career. During your eleven months of service, you'll receive training in proven strategies and support from Lester Prairie Elementary staff. You'll not only tutor students who need extra support; you'll also make a meaningful connection with the school and our community.
In addition to hands-on experience, you'll receive a living allowance of about $250 biweekly an education award of up to $2775 and may be eligible to receive health insurance. All necessary training is provided and no licensure is necessary.
