About Miss Turner
Hello! I am Claire Turner and I am stoked to be here at Lester Prairie for my second year! I graduated from Kasson-Mantorville High School in 2020, and then continued my education at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where I graduated in the spring of 2024 with a degree in History and Social Studies Education and an Environmental Ethics Certificate. While on campus, I worked for admissions as well as the radio station!

Outside of school, I’m a huge Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Frost fan, so if you ever want to talk hockey, you know where to find me! I have a cat named Vienna and she is the light of my life as well as my biggest pain. She’s a tabby domestic shorthair and keeps me on my toes 24/7.

During high school and college, I spent my summers at Many Point Scout Camp in Ponsford, Minnesota. I love being in the outdoors and it really furthered my want to be a teacher. It quickly became one of my favorite places on Earth. I have met so many lifelong friends there and while I don’t work there full time anymore, I still volunteer during the summer.
I’m so excited to get to know each and every one of you throughout the year! If you ever need anything please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Go Bulldogs!
